After solving the first mystery, the crew begins to exit the apartment building. While waiting for the elevator, third-floor resident, Nanami, overhears the detective's talk of Kaizou Fuura, a man who caused the victim to be in large debt, and comments on how her husband, too, suffered great losses due to Kaizou Fuura's influence of investing in the stock market. At that moment, Kaizou Fuura appears from the elevator window shooting himself.
